i'm Shannon

a woman who's spent more time in the muck of life than I was ever prepared for.
I've experienced feeling different because many of my life's experiences haven't looked, felt, or ended up like others.
I suffered quietly and primarily alone not being able to find many who shared openly or honestly about what I was living. 
That suffering is the reason I feel pulled to write.
I write for anyone who's been there.
It's my hope that my words leave you feeling a little more seen, a little more at peace and a little less like you're the only one.
